Perhaps you have looked at other in-town neighborhoods and either could not afford the prices or wanted a little more of a quiet neighborhood feel. If you want both those things plus proximity to Uptown and the city’s oldest country club, then the Merry Oaks neighborhood might be the place for you!

Located just north of Central Avenue and wrapping around the southern edge of Charlotte Country Club, Merry Oaks is less than 5 miles from Center City and close to some of the Charlotte’s trendiest areas.

NoDa, Plaza Midwood and Dilworth are all just a few minutes away from Merry Oaks. Independence Boulevard is just over a mile away for access to Matthews, South Charlotte or I-277, I-77 and I-85.

Merry Oaks is comprised mainly of post-WWII brick ranches and bungalows. In recent years, as prices in town have skyrocketed, newer families and singles have moved into the neighborhood and revitalized an interest in its homes because of the neighborhood charm, big trees and quiet streets.
